Posting for my boss - he has an intel MacBook Pro 17" running Leopard and just installed Office 2008.
Here the deal: Today he received a new vCard from a person with Entourage 2004. Protocol for sending out vCards is to include the photo of the new employee in the vCard. When he received the vCard the photo holder had a red X in it. When dragging the photo (Red X) to the Desktop, the file placed there is the photo. Double click it and the photo opens in Preview - a picture of the employee, not the red X.
We tried reducing the photo's file size and replaced the original photo with the newly reduced one. Still a Red X - but drag it to the Desktop and it opens the photo of the person.
Looked at some of the vCards he had before the upgrade - some of his vCards have the employee photo and some have the Red X.
Anyone experience this? If so, do you have a fix or advice on what needs to be done to fix it?
If I didn't include enough info, let me know what else you need to know in order to help me.
