I'm using verson 2003. I have tried to put a copy of a vCard with my
contact info on my desktop. I would use this as an attachment to
outgoing emails when someone wants my full contact information as
opposed to the info in my normal signature block. The problem I have
is that when I export the vCard, the info I organized in the address
book on the contact record reverts back to a standard layout instead of
the way I organized it. As an example, I have a toll free number which
I show as Business 2 in lieu of the Home phone field. It stays that
way within the Contacts forder bur reverts to a blank Home field when I
copy it to my desktop. Is their a way to fix this? I would like to
personalize the vCard without it effecting the Address Book Contact
record so that when I make changes to the vCard and click on Save and
Close, it saves the changes to the vCard only. Thanks for any help.
