VCards in OutLook 2003

I am trying to install a VCard that is not in .vcf format, but instead is a
..jpg. It and my stationery are located in the C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery folder, but OutLook 2003 does not recognize
that diurectory for either the VCard or the stationery; so I can't install
either.

How do I redirect OutLook to look into that folder so that I can add either
the VCard or the stationery?

If it's a .jpg file, then it's not a vCard. .jpg is a format for images.

Sue,

I should be able to add it to my signature, but when I go to advanced edit
and it takes me to Word 2003 and I add the .jpg file there - it really messes
up my signature and then the .jpg file does not display in the email at all.
It displays a box with the red X in it, even though I'm using the html format.

Do you have Outlook set to embed images automatically? Tools | Options | Mail Format. Make sure you enable "Send pictures from Internet with emails."

Sue,
Are you talking about the Internet button on the Mail Format Tab and making
sure the "When an HTML message contains pictures.." is checked, which it is
and was. That didn't change anything. I guess since my card is not set up
as a .vcf file then I'm out of luck or can I change it to a VCF file. How
are they made?

Yes, that's what I was referring to.

A vCard is a text file with a .vcf extension that contains contact details using the vCard specification. You can make one by saving an Outlook contact as a .vcf file or using the option in Outlook's Signature dialog.
