vcards

I'm attempting to use my contact information as a vcard insert to all my
outgoing mail. I opened my contact information and from the file menu I
chose Export to VCard file. I next created a signature and inserted said
vcard as part of my signature, however, the inserted vcard does not contain
the same information as my contact information. How can this be?

A vCard is not the same as an Outlook contact, which contains more fields than the vCard specification supports.

Thanks for your quick response Sue. However, when I look at my contact
pop-up window and the vcard pop-up window they look exactly the same with all
the same fields. What is different are the options under the Phone number
fields, it appears that no matter what fields I choose, the vcard comes up
with fields of its choosing. I've gone so far as to create new contact
information for myself and export it to the vcard file with the same results.
In addition, bolding in the notes section of the contact info doesn't carry
over to the vcard.

Exactly. A vCard is a text file following the vCard specification; you can open it in Notepad. It knows nothing about Outlook-specific features like formatting notes and selecting phone numbers.

Probably not, since the things you've cited as UI changes you'd like to see are not part of the vCard specification.

Can I edit the vcard in Notepad and save it as I would like to see it?
