Venn Diagram

I am following the instructions for Add a Venn Diagram. Step 4 (Edit Text) is
not a choice when I right-click the element where I want to add text. Is
this feature disabled on my version (Office 2003 Student and Teachers 60 day
trial)?

When I create an off-the-shelf Venn Diagram (three circles), I see three
text boxes that say "Click to add text." Are you not getting those? I don't
believe it's possible to add text to the circles themselves.

I do see the text boxes you describe. They appear to be labels or titles for
each circle. I thought the point of the diagram is the ability to add text
in the circles, particularily the intersections of the circles.
I have done this in Word 2000 by creating a table and made sure the borders
were invisible. I then created a circle that was transparent and then
created another copy of the circle and positioned each circle so they
overlapped each other and sat over the table. I adjusted the table cell
widths to make the text appear to wrap within the circles and circle overlaps.
Thanks for your help...apparently this feature does not work as I
anticipated or my trial version of Office 2003 Standard does not support the
Venn functionality.

You can add text boxes (with no line and no fill) on top of the diagram to
do what you want.
