Hi,
Will OneNote 2007 run with Office 2003 and be compatible? I am about to
purchase
OneNote 2007 but I have Office 2003, and my IT department will not let me
upgrade to Office 2003. Will I have a problem? Will I have a problem with
the various files & programs working together? I know that OneNote is self
standing but am still not sure about downward compatibly.

Integration with Outlook requires Office 2003. As I only have Office
XP I cannot use certain features which require Office 2003.

I'm running a trial version of OneNote 2007 as it seems ideal for what
I want. Why don't you install a trial version to ensure it is
compatible? The trial lasts for 60 days.

BTW, I assume in your original post that you meant you are not allowed
to upgrade to Office 2007?

Bill,

Looking at the Tools / Options menu in OneNote there is a section for
Outlook Integration.

It seems to interface with Meetings / Contacts and Email.

ON 2007 and Office 2003 don't do any harm to each other. The happily
coexist.

Some of the advanced features if the OneNote-Outlook cooperation are not
available, however with OL2003.
