Hi guys,
I need something to run for a large number of Access databases
(.MDB,.MDE, etc.). I found a program called ListMDB, which does work, but
I need some way to get this information from thousands of databases in
hundreds of directories and save the information. Since listmdb and other
tools know how, the information *must* be externally readable.
Anybody know where I can find technical specs on how to do this from
outside of Access, or a command-line tool to do this? (I have used the
version property, opening the database from opendatabase() within Access,
but that's not reliable for earlier versions, which are the most critical,
and I run into security issues for some databases. I don't need to open
them, just determine version.) Thanks!
