Version confusion

When I hover my mouse over Help in PWA, I get a version number. I assumed
this number was the version number for Project Server. Then I go into Project
Pro and access About Project Professional. It gives me a number that I
assumed was the version number for Project Pro. The thing is, these numbers
are exactly the same. Even though we have not installed any SPs for the
clients. Is this just coincidence, or are they both telling me the version
number for the same thing? If so, which thing?

PWA will tell you which version of Project Server you have whereas
Project Professional will tell you which version of the client you
have. Having the same version for each is a good thing I would assume
