Version of creating application

I'm writing a program that I'd like to be able to tell me which version of
Word was originally used to create the document. Is this possible? Does
anyone know how?

sorry, i can't answer your question. but i have one for you. i am wanting
to write a program for our office and have no clue. i know what i want but do
not know how to do the tabs. meaning, i want a dispatch sheet, report,
invoicing, and revenue. how do i put all this in one prgram with tabs to
click on? also, how can i get it to flow information from one tab to another
with out re entering the info?

i would be so appreciate if you could give me some idea!!
