Version of Jet

I have Jet 4 installed on my machine (Windows XP, Office XP)

When I check what version of jet Access is using (Access menu Select Help |
About | System Info | system summary | Office 10 Applications | Microsoft
Access 2002 | Jet Core components.) it looks like Access is using 3.5.

How has this happened? How do I change this?
