You probably would be better off to use Word 95 if you are using Windows 95.
It runs a lot faster than Word 97 or 2000 and Word 95 uses a lot less memory,
We are using Word 95 in our office with Windows 95 and have no problems. We
did try to upgrade to 97 but it just ran too slow so we went back to Word 95.
You can still find Word 95 or MS Office 95 on E Bay
