Versioning in PWA 2007

Can we enable versioning in PWA 2007?
As per my requirement, I have a project published in PWA 2007. I did
deletion of few tasks through MS Project Professional 2007 after checking-out
from PWA and then published back into PWA. Now I want to restore earlier
(version of) project, without deleted tasks.
I can add these deleted tasks through MS Project Professional 2007 once
again after checking-out the project, but if I do like that GUIDs will not
remain same and I want to keep these GUIDs same.
So I am looking for any versioning feature which can be implemented in PWA
2007.

There is no Versioning feature in Project Server 2007, the way there was in
Project Server 2003. In your own situation, if you need to restore your
project from a previous version, the best way to do this would be to ask
your Project Server administrator to do a single project restore from the
Archive database. This is assuming, however, that he/she has made
administrative backups of all projects into the Archive database. Hope this
