Versions and Archiving

Hi

I saved an Enterprise Project under a new name because I needed to rename
the project file. Then I reset the subweb address to be that of the old
project. I thought that would allow all the documents and issues to come
across with the project but it doesn't. Even if I save the original project
under a new Version, the documents/issues are not saved. How DO i in fact
save a project under another version AND keep all the documents and issues
with the tasks as defined in the original project.

Also I want to be able to keep all the documentation and issues data with
the project file when I archive it. Unless I have missed something is
archiving not what it says. I couldn't find much on versions in any of the
docuemntation so I'd be grateful for any advice.
