Versions of Office or Works Required to use Office 2007 pro upgrade

I'm trying to purchase online and can't get anyone to help. If anyone
has Office 2007 Professional could you please let me know from the box
what versions of Office or Works I must have installed before the
upgrade will work. I don't want to buy the full version if I have a
program that will use the upgrade.

I read it in Office Depot but my brain went dead on me. I know it
said Office XP and it mentioned a version of Works.

I appreciate any help you can give me.

Hi Larry,

The qualifying product versions for Office 2007 upgrade packages are

MS Office 2000 or newer (except Student & Teacher's Editions)
MS Works 6 or higher or
MS Works Suite 2000 or higher.
