versions of Word running simultaneously

hi there, i am developing Word templates for various organisations and need
to utilise 3 versions, i.e., 2000, XP and 2003. I currently have 2000 and XP
loaded however if I want to switch between each program I have to insert the
installation disk each time. I am about to purchase 2003 and will encounter
the same problem. I appreciate that they use the same registry, however is
there some clever way I am able to load and use all 3 without having to
insert a disk each time?

Hi G.,

You can copy the CD for each to your hard drive and
install from there (Office 2003 also has an option
to do basically that as part of install called the
'Local Installation Source'). You can also do that
for the already installed products and when it next
asks for the CD browse to the new location of the
CD image.

You can also look at using MS's Virtual PC product
to have each version running in its own space.
