vertical allign rows on following page

Hello. Using Word 2000 (9.0) on XP. I'm working in a
document that is 15 tables, one after the other. I'm using
page breaks to have each new tables start on a new pages.

The problem is that when a table carries onto a second (or
third) page and there aren't enough rows to fill that
following page, the portion of the table (one or two rows)
on that page is vertically aligned in the center of the
page, rather than at the top of the page. I've tried fixes
too numerous to report.

Any ideas? It's making me crazy!

Hi, Jeanne,

Just a guess... Look in the File > Page Setup dialog on the Layout tab. If
the "Vertical alignment" box is set to Center, change it to Top.

If that isn't it, there may be another place to look -- I don't remember
whether this was in Word 2000. Click anywhere in the table and go to the
Table > Properties dialog. If the Text Wrapping is set to Around and the
dialog has a Positioning button, click it. Again, if the "Vertical Position"
box is set to Center, change it to Top.

Hello, Jay:
YES! That first fix worked. May the gods smile on you
today for this good deed! thankyouthankyouthankyou.
