How can I apply vertical lines to create a "box" like format for sectioning a resume?

Before even attempting to go any further, please clarify what you're working
with - Office 2008 requires OS X 10.4.9 (Tiger) or later. If you have
somehow managed to get it installed on 10.3.x I'm not sure I'd rely on it.

You'll also have to be a bit more specific about what kind of "box" &
"vertical lines" you're referring to. Well formatted resumes don't employ
either, so it's difficult to envision what you actually want to do.
