Vertical picture animation path - how to pause it?

I have an organigram (a graph) that is about 5 screens high and would like to
present it in original size.

The vertical path is one option (even tried to make it a 200 seconds time to
make an explanation during the animation), but I found no way to pause it in
case of discussion.

Is there another way of moving pictures across the screen?

If that would be possible I'd move the graph 5 times upwards (trigger: mouse
click) and that would be it.

Any ideas anyone!?

You can use "Shortcuts for PowerPoint" add-in at
http://officeone.mvps.org/ppshortcuts/ppshortcuts.html - among the host of
new shortcuts it adds to PowerPoint, there is a shortcut that allows you to
pause a running slide show. It can pause the running animation. Another
shortcut can resume the paused running animation.
