Vertical Ruler keeps reappearing

In Microsoft Word, I have gone to TOOLS -> Options and unclicked the VERTICAL
RULER option. However, it seems to reappear on a regular basis, no matter
what document I am working in.

Is this a virus, worm, trojan or some other bug?

How can I get rid of this problem?? Thanks, ken

You might try asking this question in a WORD forum instead of in the Access
Database forum.

Also, be sure to include the VERSION of Word that you are using.
