vertical scrolling with listview control v6

Hi,

I have a listview control and am trying to set it so it will only scroll
vertically, but it seems no matter what I do the items on the list always
seem to go down to the bottom of the control and then start a new column,
and a horizontal scroll bar appears so the items can be accessed. what
settings are used so the items are just shown and can be accessed
vertically?
