vertical text box in access 2003

A recent post referred to font problems with Access XP and
vertical text boxes. I'm having a similiar problem in
Access 2003. If I set a text box to "Vertical=yes" the
text in the text box is getting set to a default value.
All attempts to change the font fail. If I set the text
box to "Vertical=no", the text in the text box instantly
changes to whatever font it is supposed to be. I can
change the font to any value just fine. Resetting the box
back to "Vertical=yes" forces the font back to a default
ignoring whatever font I have changed it to.

I've seen this behavior in Access 2003 on both Windows 2k
pro and Windows XP pro. I've tried the same tests on
Access 97 and Access 2000 and it works fine.

Is this a known bug? Are other folks seeing this? Anyone
know of a workaround?

Thanks,
Alan Addis
