I have encountered the following problem in PowerPoint for Mac v.X and
in previous versions of PowerPoint for Mac such as 2001 and 1998.
Whenever I create slides containing vertical text boxes, the text
boxes inevitably move (in both the x and y directions) after closing
and then reopening the file. Sometimes, this unwanted movement occurs
simply by clicking to another slide and then back to the slide with
vertical text, even without saving and closing the file. This movement
occurs even if I 'Group' the text boxes with other objects or pictures
that do not move upon reopening of the file or reaccessing that
particular slide. The unintended movement of these text boxes
regardless of whether 'Snap To Grid' is active or inactive.
I am eager to hear of any solutions to this problem and welcome any
suggestions!
Sincerely,
KGT
