Vertically aligned superscripts and subscripts

Thanks to all the posts from MVPs and others. This is the solution
that I have found, I respond to the ancillary issues below.

Firstly, some of the mechanics of editing fields
------------------

To create a blank field CTRL+F9
To toggle code/content of selected field SHIFT+F9
To toggle code/content of all fields ALT+F9

The question I posed was to write x0 squared, the solution is
------------------
x{ EQ \s\do2(\a \ac \co1 \vs0 ( 2,0))}

Martha, note the space within "( 2,0)".
This white space appears as a lockspace symbol in the field content if
you have formatting display switched on (the paragraph symbol on the
standard(?) toolbar).

In reality, I dummied my problem down to get to the core problem.
The actual item I wanted to write in a doc did not require an offset
between the superscript and subscript, this is the actual solution
that I wanted

7.547 { EQ \s\do1(\a \ac \co1 \vs0 (+0.295,-0.266))} mm

+0.295
7.547 mm
-0.266
inline sub/superscripting
------------------
Could only find "inline videos" in help index
No occurrences of "subscript" in help index
"Superscript" led to me finding the {EQ \s} solution, but this is not
what allowed me to align them.

Problems with the FO_rward and BA_ckward operators
---------------------
While we are on the subject, I could not get any of the following to
work, as I thought combining a \d\ba4 with the \s\up2 of the
superscript might do the trick as well. The first one is straight
from the online help, the others are my own variations.

a{EQ \d \fo10 \li() }b
a{EQ \d \fo10 }b
a{EQ \d\ba8}b

Thanks,
Paul.
