We are moving from Visio 2002 to 2003 and the vertice handles are causing a
problem with our stencil libraries... What used to display only the alignment
box on shapes with guarded or locked shape and control handles now
dymamically creates the editable vertice handles... I know that I can set
"LockvtxEdit" to prevent the use of the handles (will be very time consuming)
but I would rather be able to turn the vertice handles themselves off...

Any Suggestions?

John,

I'm not sure I understand the difference you are seeing between Visio 2002
and 2003. There is a new handle feature in Visio 2003 that exposes vertex
handles on shapes when the Pointer tool is selected. However, this is only
enabled for shapes that do not derive from masters. It should not affect
any shapes coming from your stencils.
