I think world for OS X is absolutely not a good software.

It is simply impossible to write in Chinese, neither in Japanese
neither in Arbic !!

It is the only carbon application that does this in my computer !!!
No, not the only, all the Office X softwares !! But only them !

Even phooshop, illustrator or Freehand, all carbon softwares, can uses
this different languages.

So, I'm waiting for the port of OpenOffice and a good office suite
made by Apple, goodbye Microsoft.

Hi m-rick,

If only life were as simple as a Star-Trek episode where the Captain says
"Make it happen" and in a moment whatever the Captain wanted has already
happened.

Word is a very complex program. Office was the first major program ported to
Mac OSX. Office relies on OSX for a lot of stuff, and some of that stuff was
brand new. Right-to-left language support just wasn't available right away
or could not be incorporated instantly and reliably.

I am sure that the Mac folks at Microsoft are interested in knowing what
languages you would like supported in future releases of Office. They make
features available based to a large degree on customer feedback.

The URL to use to let Microsoft know the features you would like to have is:
http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

You probably won't get a personal response, but you can be sure that all
submissions are read by the product managers and are tracked in a database
and will be factored into their decisions about what to implement in the
next version of Office, which is being built right now.

No, it was photoshop 7 ...
Office relies on OSX for a lot of stuff, and some of that stuff was
brand new.

A lot of stuff is completely unuseful because 80 % of the users use
onlmy 7 % of them but the functions we are expecting for are not there ...
Right-to-left language support just wasn't available right away
or could not be incorporated instantly and reliably.

Even in explorer, all the others browsers can do it ...
But IE is a shit anyway and everybody knows that.

They are more interested in how much mony I could pay ...
I don't understand why in the American version I have a patch to be able
to use Chinese or Japanese and not in the French one ... Maybe to buy
several licences ... And the idea to use patch to be able to use it ...
that makes me laughin ...

I didn't pay this fucking suite more than 400 € just simply to not be
able things that all other softwares can do ...
And not where it is mentionned on the box that I won't be able to use
Asian languages or right to left languages.

So good buy Microsoft, now I use Mellel that can do the things I am
waiting for and for only 24 € !!!
