Very New FrontPage User Question

Here is my situation: I have installed FrontPage 2003 on my PC and created a
"website" that is published to a folder on our network, I am intending to use
this as an Intranet for our office. So far everything is working the way I
want, I have a shortcut to the “Index†page I created that I plan to place on
users PC’s so they can access the site. The problem I am having is that I
wanted to create a forums section on the site. I was able to use the
Discussion Web Site Wizard to create the pages I wanted, but now when I
publish the site and try to use the forums I get an error that says I need a
web server and FrontPage Server Extension for it to function. So, my question
is; is there a way that I can do what I am wanting with the setup I currently
have? Or do I need a completely different setup? I will provide whatever
addition information is needed, sorry if I left out something important… I’m
still a newbie.

Thanks in advance for any responses.

No, you have to publish the site to a web site created on your network via http that has the FP
Server Extensions installed. You need to work with your network admin folks.

However, you still must publish/upload to a web server, not folder on the network, in order to run
PHP, plus the PHP engine must be installed.

Thank you both for your quick responses, seems that for me to have a "forum"
included on my "site" is more than i am able to do at this time due to the
options i have available.

Thanks again,
