I seem to be having a problem with one account on a pop3 domain. This
computer (Vista) had Outlook 2007 installed. When I added a pop3 account
(Both the pop and smtp servers are mail.mydomain.com) I am able to download
all the emails without any problems. Sending emails is never a problem. When
I restart the computer the next day and do a send/receive it starts to
download 1 of 4 (sometimes 1 of 30 or 1 of 7) (There are only 4 emails to be
downloaded) but becomes extremely sluggish and never actually manages to
download the first email or any of the others.
I have removed Outlook 2007 and then installed 2003. The account then worked
until the next day. I have also deleted the account from the domain control
panel and made another one for the same user and it worked for about 1 hour
and then the same problem has occurred. I am now stuck for ideas and any
help would be appreciated.
