Very slow going from address book to calendar

Email Client: imap

This did not always happen. I have verified and compacted the database. I have several projects open but none of them have contacts associated.

Do you have a lot of items flagged as To-Dos? I recall that having a lot
of items flagged can cause this behavior.

Also, be sure you are completely up-to-date with Office 2008. Check for
updates under the Help menu.
