Very Slow Loading when using Linked Files

I have an Excel Worksheet that links to another Excel Worksheet.

I have installed the latest Service Pack and Security Update and after doing
so, when updating the "kinked" worksheet, it is very slow in loading. This
was not a problem before updating the software.

Any idea what the problem could be???
