I have a Project in Server 2003 that takes a VERY long time to update after
the manager approves time. In a typical week, five resources charge to about
10 tasks. The project itelf is about 24 months old and contains about 120
tasks. A total of 1700 days of effort has been charged project-to-date
Update for a typical week's worth of submissions takes more than three
minutes. This has been tested on three machines using two different manager
accounts (i.e. changing the owner of the tasks). Results are always the same
- About three minutes.
This is an order of magnitude longer than the update speed to any similar
project. What could cause this?
