We're running an Xserve Cluster Node (running 10.2.8 Server) connected
to a Xserve RAID as our high school's Home Folder/Document server.
From time to time, the AppleFileServer maxes out above 100% CPU usage,
slowing down everyone connected.
We've narrowed down the problem a bit, and have found that this seems
to happen when we have a classload or two of students using Microsoft
Word at the same time.
Is there anyone else in the same boat as me with Word users hogging up
the entire server?
....any tips on preference modifications or serverside changes to make?
