Hello Folks,
I've got a good one for ya. For whatever reason (and I don't really care) a
resource did not synchronize with the resource pool. However, they did
synchronize with a security group. Thus, they have a User account. This
person has never logged in to PWA nor has any assignments. I simply want to
delete this user and try to synchronize the resource pool again. So, I go to
the "Admin" page, "Cleanup Project Server Database", click the "Resource"
radio button, select the name from the list (it is there), and click
"Delete". I recieve the following error:
"There is a problem with the resource. The resource is already checked out."
So I go to "Manage enterprise features" to check in the resource and they
are not listed. Strange? I think so.
I am the dba so I naturally hope into the SQL database and check the
MSP_RESOURCES table; the resource is not there. Then I check the
MSP_WEB_RESOURCES table and the resource is there. I want to delete the
record so bad. I looked in a few other related tables for the GUID and ID so
I would delete those records first and then delete the record for the
resource in the MSP_WEB_RESOURCES table.
I thought it best to discuss this here before doing anything drastic.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
