Greetings
We use a document automation system at work. One of the templates
which is rarely used was assembled today. It is two pages long. It is
formatted with two columns on the first page, then one column on the
second and has manual line breaks rather than paragraph breaks in some
places.
The strange thing is that in Page Layout view, when scrolling the text
disappears on page 2 only. This occurs on a number of different
computers and OS's with this particular document. Also occurs both
Word 2000 and WordXP.
The problem doesn't occur in Normal view.
If the all the text is copied and pasted over into a new document the
same thing occurs - text doesn't reappear after scrolling down the
page in Page Layout view but reappears and stays there if you change
to Normal view.
We have sent the document to our software provider but they are also
stumped.
I just thought someone here may be able to shed some light on the
problem.
Many thanks
