Hi,
Outlook 2007 gives a very weird error message. For some weird reason,
Outlook 2007 cannot deal with an attachment with the name
"contract.jpg".
When I select the file, the following message is presented: "This file
cannot be previewed. Try opening the file in the program in which it
was created".
When I click "Save as...", the following message appears: "Cannot save
the attachment. Cannot create file: contract.jpg. Right-click the
folder you want to create the file in and then click Properties on the
shortcut menu to check your permissions for the folder".
To figure out were the problem is, I sent 3 mails to myself:
the 1st mail with an attachment "contract.jpg". This give the error
presented above.
the 2nd en 3rd with the same file, only renamed to "contract1.jpg" and
"contract2.jpg". Outlook does not have any problems with
"contract1.jpg" and "contract2.jpg": I can preview and I can save the
files.
Does anyone have a solution? Suggestions are very much appreciated!
(BTW, after googling I found that google desktop could conflict with
OUtlook 2007, but I haven't got google desktop installed).
Additional info: i'm using Windows XP.
Best Regards,
Stronk
