video corruption

Ive just installed a ati 9000 (sapphire) pro and now all
word documents (word only, none of the other office suite
is effected) trash the video on the screen when scrolled.
Ive tried the newest and some older drivers but to no
avail. Nothing found anywhere on knowledge bases for an
answer. ANy guess?

athalon 1 gig
xp pro
office 2000 pro
512 ram
ati saphire pro 64 meg
all SCSI system
