Video in Frontpage

Allan

I am using Frontpage XP and would like to insert an .avi file in a page, but
the insert menu has "video" grayed out. How can I get this option working?
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

first thing to do since a avi file is silly to put on the web do to the
large file size. You need to go to microsoft.com and do a search on windows
meda encoder ,,, after you get that convert the file to a wmv file the size
will be much smaller for the web and you can target your audience. Then go
back to microsoft.com do a search on windows media player plugin for
frontpage ,, install it..
then in your insert selection in frontpage you will have the option to
insert a windows media video.
here a few examples of windows and real player
on my site http://123web4me.com
good luck
