Video Loading Flashes on Screen

I have a PowerPoint (.pps) that contains an .mpeg file
for each slide. When beginning the .pps the screen
flashes several times. It appears as if it flashes each
time it preloads each video. Is there a way to avoid this
PowerPoint behavior to make the videos more professional?
