Video Playback Horrible!

I inserted a very clear .avi screen capture into one of my slides. There is
a lot of text on the .avi video. Playback in PowerPoint is horrible - you
can't even read the text. Any way to make playback better? A while back I
downloaded PFCMedia, and since I can NOT remove it from PowerPoint, I can not
reinstall it again to see if it would make a difference. It tells me my 14
days of the free trial is up. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for the idea, but unfortunately, wmv looks too blurry. I converted
the avi into many different formats. Each format looks OK, (none as good as
the original avi) - until it is played through PowerPoint. PowerPoint seems
to be the culprit. :(

Just a first idea. Transcode your avi film into a wmv

What about your hardware acceleration within PPT?

I checked the box for Hardware Acceleration, and I am pleased with the video
file. I can read all text, and it looks pretty good! Thanks!
Unfortunately, I convert the entire presentation to video, and during that
process, the .mpg movie turns into an .flv. Having a difficult time finding
a good avi to flv file converter. But, that goes beyond PowerPoint. Thank
you for your help!
