Video Plays in Power Point 2007 on Vista But Not XP

I have some videos (mpg, mp3, avi, wmv....that play just fine in native apps
like MS Media and they play just fine when inserted into a PP and run from my
Vista Business computer. The same file run on sevearly XP machines I have
access to does not run. I just get the black outline of the video and no
sound.

Any insight is appreciated.

Hi John,

Try searching the ppt Help files for "Compatible multimedia fil
formats". You may find that you need to convert the files to anothe
format.
If you can't find a solution through the Help files, can you please le
us know what version of Powerpoint you are running on each of th
machines (ie on XP)?
