Video recording using VNC or streaming video

I'd like to use OneNote to take notes while recording video during user
research sessions. My company's lab uses a setup where a laptop captures
video recording and user actions on a screen using a combination of VNC
software, video capture software and Camtasia. I'd like to somehow take what
is being recorded in Camtasia and take notes using One Note on a separate
computer. Since there is no video signal in this exchange, One Note doesn't
recognize the video recording. I've tried VNC and meeting conferencing
software to get this to work with no success. Is there any way I can get this
streaming video into One Note?

Thanks!

No; you've answered your own question ;( If OneNote does not see the
source as a video device, it won't be able to record it as video.
