I made some short clips and saved them to avi (I forget which codec, its on a
different computer). I read that a good test if it is "power point
compatible" is to open it with media player classic (start -> run -> mplayer2
(with windows XP)). It opened and played with no problems. The thing is, when
I add it to a presentation, the video plays (ie doesn't complain about a
missing codec), but it is has big black squares covering most of it!! I have
a very fast computer and a very good video card so I can't imagine it has
anything to do with the hardware (I also run lots of video/photo editing
software with no problems)?
1) what is the proper/best codec to use?
2) why would it do this ? (since I don't think it even is a codec thing)
Any input would be great!
Thanks,
Dave
