Hello

I have made a powerpoint presentation which contains mp4 clips which i got from youtube and converted them using isquint. When i play it on any other computer the powerpoint all works except for the clips which will not play even if i use another mac laptop.

I really need it to be able to work on pcs.
Is there any way this is possible?

Thanks

Hi,

The best format to use for both Macs and PCs is WMV. Macs should install
Flip4Mac (free) to play WMV files using QuickTime.

After inserting the movies, use File > Save As and choose the type
PowerPoint Package.

Distribute the Package folder.

Thanks, Jim.

The question was actually written by my daughter and concerned a school assignment.
It turns out (as far as I can gather) that the clips were not embedded into Powerpoint but linked to it. During the presentation the computer at her school looked for the clips but they weren't there as they were still on the computer at home.
Your reply should help in future assignments.

Regards, Charlie.
