View 2 different Excel worksheets

I can't open 2 different worksheets on my desktop; when I open the second worksheet, it overwrites the first one I have open. What to do?

Are you sure?
Look in the Window menu. Are both filenames listed? If so, they are both
open. The ticked one is visible. Click the other name to switch to it, or
use "Arrange..." to show them both.
