view a project file using project server

How can I grant access to a Project 2003 file saved on a Project Server so
that others in my office can view it? Right now the only way that they can
use the file is if each person is listed as a resource. In reality, they are
not all reasources...some are just people who need to get updates/information
about the project status.

Assuming you are the Project Server administrator, do the following:

1. Create a custom Category that grants access to this one project
2. Add this custom Category to the Project Managers group
3. In the Categories section, select this custom Category and then set its
permissions in the Permissions grid (such as Open Project, Save Project,
etc.)
