View address cards by category

Is there a way to view address cards or detailed address cards by category?
I know I can view the contacts by Category by selecting the By Category view
but this view lists down all the contacts like an e-mail inbox.

The table styled views (eg Phone List and By Category) are the most
flexible - use the Field Chooser and Group By box and you'll get a lot out
of them. You can group by any of your fields.

When you Group by a Field, you can drag that whole group to the Outbox to
email them, or use Tools | Mailmerge to do a merged email.

You can define your own views as well - so if you want a filtered view (eg
just a certain Category in a Address cards style) you can do that.

Everyone - turn on your Advanced Toolbars and learn how to use the Field
Chooser and Group by Box!!

Hi Judy,
Thanks for the reply. However, I still prefer the Detailed Address Cards
view coz I can zoom in to a contact by first letter of the name.

Perhaps there is a similar way to "zoom in" on a contact in the "By
Category" view?

As an after-thought.....

Use the Contacts Lookup window to find people - turn on the Advanced
toolbar and then a white window will appear. In it you can type a first name
or last name and it'lll take you to that person. It sometimes (!!!!) will
also lookup by Company.
