View all headings

My formatting palette, even when I select "All Styles" only shows
Headings 1 - 3. How do I add Heading 4 so my table of contents can
show that many levels? Add style doesn't seem to work. Thanks.

Hi Steve,

I don't get it. With All Styles selected, I see Headings 1-9 on the
Formatting Palette. If you go to Format menu> Style and select All Styles
from the List pane there, do you see all nine Heading styles? Does applying
additional Heading styles (4-9) cause them to show up in the Formatting
Palette?

Also, see if testing your Word preferences fixes anything:
