View and Upload Documents

Lynn

hi,
when i tried to upload a document from the project server webpage. it says:

Microsoft Project Web Access Documents and Issues are based on SharePoint
Team Services from Microsoft.

A SharePoint Team Services subweb needs to be created for your project
before you can share project documents or track project issues. Subweb
creation takes a few minutes, so if the project was just published, wait a
few minutes and then visit the page again. Otherwise, please contact your
system administrator.

What is wrong??

You might want to check and see if a subweb has been created for that
specific project plan.

You'll need to log into Project Web Access with Project Server Administartion
permissions, go Admin > Manage SharePoint Team Services, and I fogot the
link name but there should be a section pertaining to subweb setting or
something along those lines.

There you'll see a list of project plans on to the right of them will show if
they have a subweb or not. If there is no subweb then one will need to be
created in order to use the features that come with SharePoint Team
Services.

Lynn:

Most often this indicates that the proxycfg.exe utility has not been run.
With Project Server 2003, this is handled as part of the installation. With
2002, this is a separate step.
