On the View ribbon there is a zoom option labeled "100%". My intuitive notion
is that it means the document is displayed on screen such that it matches the
actual paper when printed, i.e 8.5x11inch or A4 size exactly.
Assuming this notion is correct, I find that my Word 2003 on Windows 7 does
not display at 100%. I have two systems, a desktop and a laptop, and both are
in error. I'm assuming that somehow, I must inform my system (Word or
Windows) what the physical dimensions of my screen are, either in
inches/millimeters or using a DPI number. Any suggestions on how to do this?
