view contacts folder

I'm using XP Home Edition with Outlook 2000. I closed
the contact view and can't seem to find how to bring it
back.

When Outlook loads I have it going directly to my inbox
so on the left side are the folders and underneath the
default was to show the contacts but I closed it. Anyone
know how to turn the view back on?

Outlook has no such feature and never has, from which I would conclude that
you aren't really using Outlook 2000.
You are using Outlook Express, a completely unrelated program.
I don't use OE and it's supported in another newsgroup, but as I recall this
option resides in View > Layout.
