View created for each and every lookup table in Project Server 2007?

I noticed in the SQL Reporting Database, there was a view created for
each Lookup Table created in Project. HOWEVER, I also noticed that if
I deleted a lookup table, say named "UNTS_My_Lookup" and created a
different one called simply "My Lookup", the view "UNTS_My Lookup" is
still out there.

Am I reading this right? So, then is there no choice but to manually
determine which lookup tables exist today and go out there and drop
each of the "old" views? Are there also tables created for each
lookup table as well? (I haven't looked yet on the server).

Thanks,

My first guess is that these Views need to stay around until all projects
have been re-published using the new lookup table.

Nope. I republished and they're all still there. It appears there
are also "association" type views created for a subset of the lookup
tables (or custom fields).

Not sure what these are for. In any event, if the lookup tables and/
or custom fields no longer exist, can I go ahead and drop these views
from the database?

ALSO... we have Portfolio Server installed, but I don't see the
databases for Portfolio Server in this database instance? Is it in a
different database instance?

Thanks,
